Officer Notes 1/22/24 to 1/28/24

1/22…8:37 am…Zone 8…Marland Road…BIS officer while patrolling found the front door at a member’s house partially open. No answer at the front door, officer checked the interior and found exterior doors open. Contacted members by phone, pipe had burst inside the house and they were airing out he house. Officer left the property at 8:46 am.

 

1/22…11:32 am…Zone 6…Cheyenne Mtn Blvd…Motorist assist…BIS officer helped a driver of a grey Mitsubishi Outlander who had a flat tire. Assisted driver in airing up the tire using our portable air pump so he could drive to get the tire repaired. Officer clear at 11:51 am.

 

1/23…12:49 pm…Zone 7…Briarwood Place…BIS officer contacted two males at a member’s house attempting to get into the backyard. Two vehicles parked on the street, gold Chevy Cruze and a white Ford van, both with CO plates. Both males provided information proving they were there to do some electrical work in the backyard. Both left the property and will be back tomorrow. Cleared the property at 12:57 pm.

 

1/24…11:39am…Zone 4..Strickler Road…BIS officer contacted CSPD’s homeless outreach team who were in the area regarding a homeless camp. Information was passed onto them of another homeless camp on Springmeadow Drive in the area of the spillway/bridge area. At 11L50 am two CSPD HOT team officer’s and BIS officer arrived in the area of the spillway. They found a homeless camp under the bridge in the spillway but no one was present. CSPD stated they would take care of the situation but if anyone is seen at the camp to call the HOT team, officers provided us a number to call. Clear the area at 12:02 pm.

 

1/25…12:15 pm…Zone 7…Lake Ave…Suspicious vehicle parked on property blocking the parking lot entrance at the country club. White older model KIA Sportage CO plates OZC808, unoccupied. Management of the property requested vehicle be towed. Klaus Towing was called, management informed they would have to sign the tow ticket for the vehicle. Klaus towing arrived on property at 1:53 pm, vehicle removed from the property.
