11/21…10:48 am…Zone 10…Sanford Road…BIS received a report from a member of a suspicious male in the area ringing doorbells. Man was described as a WM, mid 40’s, wearing dark clothing. Member talked to the male through the doorbell camera, male said he was looking for an address on Sanford. BIS officer arrived in the area at 10:51 am, located the male at the address nearby that he had stated he was trying to locate. BIS Officer confirmed all was okay and legitimate. Officer called member back to update them.
11/22…7:55 am…Zone 1…Mayhurst Ave./Cheyenne Road…BIS received a report from an alert member regarding a suspicious vehicle driving up and down the street, stopping several times in front of numerous houses. Vehicle described as a White 4 door sedan, unknown plates, occupied by a BM (driver) and a WM (passenger) wearing a hat, both 20-30 years old. BIS officer arrived in the area at 7:59 am, and located the vehicle on Cheyenne Blvd. Vehicle was a white Toyota Camry with CO plates. BIS contacted both males in the vehicle and confirmed that they were delivering newspapers. All clear and nothing unusual. No further action required. Member was advised.
11/22…8:37 am…Zone 2…Polo Drive/7th street…BIS officer observed a suspicious/possibly homeless person described as a WM wearing all black clothing with a beanie cap, walking with a limp. Officer observed person walking west on Polo Drive, stopping and looking at several houses. BIS Officer contacted the man who stated he was just out for a walk. Suspicious/homeless male appeared to be intoxicated but refused any help. Officer continued to watch the male from a distance and monitor his activities as he walked around the area heading West. Suspect male left the area North on Cresta Road at approx. 9:12 am. BIS received numerous calls about this male between 8:48 am and 9:07 am.
Male was seen again by the BIS Officer at 10:23 am in the 1600 block of Mesa Ave. not wearing shoes with visible injuries to his feet. BIS Officer approached and contacted the suspicious male again and offered assistance or a ride to Broadmoor Fire Dept for possible treatment - which the man declined. Male was last seen at 1:02 pm walking North on 8th street. BIS Officer monitored the area the remainder of the day but suspicious male did not return. All clear.
11/23…7:03 am…Zone 10…Penrose Blvd…BIS received a call from a member regarding a male wearing a long black trench coat jumping in front of vehicles and yelling. BIS Officer arrived in the area at 7:09 am…area was checked to include Penrose Blvd, Old Stage Road, Cheyenne Mtn Blvd but Officer was unable to locate the suspicious male.
The suspicious male was then observed and contacted at 8:08 am by BIS officer at Mesa Ave. and El Pomar Road. Described as a WM, wearing a black trench coat and black hat. The man did not appear to be impaired or incapacitated in any way. The man was asked about jumping in front of a vehicle earlier. WM stated he was involved but that he did not see the car as he was attempting to cross the road and was only trying to get out of the way. WM stated he was leaving the area and going downtown. BIS Officer observed the man leaving the area walking North. Area was checked throughout the day with no further contact. No other calls were received concerning the suspicious male.

11/25…5:01 pm…Zone 7…Tanglewood Drive…BIS received a call from a member stating a male was knocking on the door and acting strange. BIS officer responded and contacted a WM, late 30s, 5’6”, wearing a red jacket and black pants. Man stated his name was Kenny and that he was lost. He further stated that he lived at the halfway house on Mirada Road and asked for a ride to a gas station. Male was given a ride to the house on Mirada and contact made with the halfway house individual/supervisor in charge. Man was released to the supervisor at the residence and BIS Officer cleared at 5:35 pm.
