11/6…Nothing reported.

11/7…9:51 am…Zone 8…Pourtales Road…BIS received a call of a suspicious male walking west on Pourtales Road. Reporting person described person as a WM, 20s, wearing a torn white t-shirt, blue jeans, red shoes and a blue backpack. BIS officer arrived in the area at 9:55am but was unable to locate the male after checking the area and speaking to several people. No further action taken.

11/7…7:24 pm…Zone 7…Second Street…BIS Officer received a call from a member about an abandoned vehicle/traffic hazard on 2nd Street. White Dodge pick-up truck with CO plates, had a flat tire and was left in the middle of the road. Owner came by while Officer was contacting CSPD for tow, Owner stated they would move it and left the scene supposedly to go get help. BIS officer waited until 8:15 pm and called the traffic hazard into CSPD. CSPD handled per city protocol and towed vehicle from location.

11/8…8:05 am…Zone 2…Polo Drive at 7th street…BIS Officer observed a possible DUI driver. Black Chevy SUV with CO plates. Driver was a WM with a dark beard and brown jacket. Driver was observed driving south on 7th street, driving in both traffic lanes, before turning onto Old Broadmoor Road. Driver stopped several times backing up in the street. BIS Officer contacted the male driver at 8:15 am on Oak Ave, male stated he did not need help, again turning South on 7th street. Driver flagged down the BIS Officer at approximately 8:35 am on Haney Road. Driver stated, “I thought you were my coworker”, and then drove away. BIS Officer observed slurred speech and other signs of intoxication and suspected driver was possibly impaired or DUI. BIS Officer notified CSPD with pertinent information. Suspected DUI driver left the area and no further observations or contact was made by BIS Officer.

11/9…8:32 am... Zone 8... Iron Duke Court - Report received from alarm company of an active, audible burglary alarm at member residence. BIS Officer arrived at 8:36 am and conducted complete security check of residence. No evidence of foul play or attempted break in detected. No footprints in snow around residence. False alarm. Member informed by BIS Officer. No further action required. Officer cleared at 8:44 am.


......9:40 am...Zone 8... Cheyenne Mtn. Blvd. . Report received from alarm company of an active and audible burglary alarm. Bis Officer arrived at 9:42 am and completed a security check of the residence for possible intrusion or damage. None detected. No signs of foul play. False alarm. BIS Officer informed member. No further action required. Officer cleared at 9:48 am.

11/11…8:26 pm…Zone 5…El Encanto Drive…Member contact BIS after reviewing camera footage of their property and discovered a suspicious unknown male on November 8th at about 4:30 pm walk onto their property backyard area. WM 30s with a brown beard, wearing blue jeans, grey shirt, grey stocking hat, black jacket and black hiking boots. Male entered a dog run/storage area and was recorded saying twice, “Hi, how are you?" Male did not exit the dog run area in video footage, Suspect believed to have jumped the fence leaving the property into a neighbor’s yard. Male not seen on any other cameras around the property and no immediate evidence of foul play or missing property took place. No BIS response due to delay in film review and discovery by homeowner/member but video footage archived for future reference if needed.

11/12…11:40 am…Zone 8…Northgate Road/Cheyenne Mountain Blvd…BIS Officer was contacted by an alert member who reported a suspicious vehicle described only as an SUV. BIS officer arrived in the area at 11:44am and found a dark blue Ford Expedition with CO temp tags parked in the area. After short search and inquiry by the BIS Officer, it was determined that the vehicle belonged to yard workers authorized to work at a nearby residence.
