4/29…1:30am…Zone 4…Strickler Road: Suspicious vehicle. While patrolling, BIS Officer found a silver Buick LaCrosse with CO plates that expired in 06/2023, vehicle unoccupied but appears someone is living out of the vehicle. CSPD was called at 1:38am and the vehicle information was passed on, the PD call taker stated that based on the information provided they would not be sending out an officer. The BIS Officer checked all the surrounding streets and was not able to locate anyone in the area, nothing unusual seen. The vehicle was not in the area earlier that evening and has never been seen in the area before. Information passed on to all BIS Officers to be aware of and monitor this suspicious vehicle.

5/1…8:02pm…Zone 10…Plainview Road: BIS Officer received two calls from different members about hearing gunshots in the area. BIS Officer responded and arrived in area at 8:08 pm and checked the area. No other calls received, nothing unusual observed or found and no gunshots heard. Officer cleared at 8:20 pm.
5/2…3:05pm…Zone 7…Broadmoor Ave: BIS Officer observed two High School aged males (Subjects #1 and #2) on private school property, exit a grey VW 4 door sedan with gel blaster/air soft guns. At that time another juvenile male of High School age (Subject #3) was seen running away from subjects 1 and 2 when they began shooting the gel blaster toy guns at him. Subject #3 was observed throwing a similar gel blaster gun into the pond at the school, and then proceeded to fight or tussle with subject #1. The BIS Officer approached and was able to separate the two fighting males (subjects #1 and #3). Subject #3 then walked back to his vehicle (silver coupe). Subjects #1 and #2 had their gel guns taken by the BIS Officer where he laid them on the trunk of subjects' #1 and #2 vehicle. Subjects 1 and 2 were then interviewed by the BIS Officer and were identified as Cheyenne Mtn High School students. Subject #3 then re-approached the BIS Officer and subjects 1 and 2 and picking up one of the gel guns that were taken from subjects 1 and 2, began shooting at them. Subject #3 then returned to his vehicle and quickly left the school grounds. School faculty arrived at the scene and identified subject #3 as a student at the school and would handle the situation. Cheyenne Mtn High School security was also called, and student information and details of the incident were passed onto them for further action. The school security liaison officer where the incident took place was also informed of the incident. BIS Officer cleared at 3:35pm.
5/3…4:11am…Zone 10…Leaming Road: BIS Officer received an alarm call for a member’s house. Officer arrived at 4:17 am and observed that the alarm was audible. The BIS Officer conducted a thorough search of the exterior of the residence. All doors and windows were secure, no signs of entry made, or attempted entry or other property damage were observed. Contact was made with the owner, stating he would have someone check the alarm system. Officer cleared at 4:24am.
5/4…7:53pm…Zone 9…South Club Drive: Received a call from a member stating he had an alarm notification at his house coming from the garage door. The BIS officer arrived at 7:56pm and found the garage door open, alarm was not audible. A white Toyota Tacoma with Louisiana plates was parked in front of the house, unoccupied. Verified with the member that the vehicle belongs to their daughter, and she was allowed to be there. Spoke with the daughter at the front door as well. All was well. Officer cleared at 8:03pm.
