10/30..12:45 pm…Zone 7…Broadmoor Ave…Several calls received from members and non-members about a homeless male in the area. BIS officer responded and contacted a WM wearing jeans, gray blanket, beard and mid length brown hair walking east on Broadmoor Ave between 6th and 7th street. The man indicated he was seeking assistance for a non-emergency health issue. BIS Officer assisted the man with instructions to locate needed services and resources. Man was last seen walking East out of the area.
10/31…10:03 pm…Zone 8…Marland Road…Report of a suspicious vehicle parked with its lights off in a member’s driveway, no further vehicle description given. BIS officer arrived in the area at 10:07 pm but vehicle was gone upon Officer's arrival. Officer checked the area for the vehicle but could not locate it. Logged incident and monitored area the remainder of the night. Nothing unusual seen and no further contact was had with the suspicious vehicle.

11/4…12:26 am…Zone 10…Plainview Rd/West Point Road…Member reported a suspicious vehicle seen driving around the block twice in about 20 minutes on Plainview Road and West Point Road. No vehicle description provided. BIS officer arrived in the area at 12:33 am, no vehicles were observed in the area and nothing out of the ordinary was detected. Officer parked in the area discretely and monitored the area until 12:50 am. No vehicles or individuals observed. Officer monitored the area the remainder of the night.
11/4…7:50 am…Zone 7…Broadmoor Ave. Report of a possibly homeless male, 40/50 years old wearing blue jeans, black hat, black and grey backpack with a grey beard walking east on Broadmoor Ave. BIS officer responded immediately and checked the area but was not able to locate the person.
11/4…10:04 am…Zone 9…Hermitage Drive…BIS Officer received a call from a member that a suspicious male entered the gated community and ransacked an unlocked vehicle. Nothing appeared to have been taken from the vehicle however. Suspect was observed entering the gated community on a security camera and photo of suspicious person was provided to BIS Officer and then to CSPD. Suspect described as a WM, wearing black shoes, blue jeans, black jacket, brown hair and brown and grey beard with grey backpack. This was a similar description for the suspicious person observed and reported earlier on Broadmoor Ave. Officer responded but suspect had left the area and follow up search for suspect was not successful. CSPD was already notified by reporting member.
11/4…12:23 pm…Zone 8…Westgate Road…Report of the same suspicious male observed earlier on Broadmoor Ave and Hermitage Drive in a member’s backyard ringing the doorbell. BIS officer arrived at 12:25 pm and observed the male in a backyard on Pourtales Road. BIS officer contacted the male who seemed distraught and extremely agitated. Male attempted to enter the passenger side of the patrol vehicle without permission. CPSD was called by BIS Officer. CSPD stated they had also received several calls about this male. BIS Officer monitored suspect while awaiting CSPD but could not detain suspect. Suspect was last seen walking north on Hunter’s Lane toward Broadmoor Ave. BIS Officer provided all suspect information and reported erratic and suspicious behaviors to CSPD. Unknown if or what time CSPD arrived in the area. BIS Officer monitored suspect until he left the Broadmoor area.
11/4…1:40 pm…Zone 8…Pourtales Road…Member contacted BIS officer and stated that after reporting the homeless male earlier the member discovered a wallet that the suspicious male had apparently thrown over the fence into the member's yard. Member provided wallet to BIS Officer who turned it in to BIS Chief. Wallet contained a birth certificate, driver’s license, debit card and social security card for two different people. Follow up to be conducted on Monday 11/6 with CSPD.
11/4…11:35 pm…Zone 7…Tanglewood Drive…Suspicious vehicle parked and running on Tanglewood Drive at Broadmoor Ave. Gold early 2000’s model Chevy Malibu with CO plates, dark tinted windows, unknown number of occupants. BIS officer saw a WM 18-20 years old wearing a white t-shirt and blue or black knee length shorts with two horizontal stripes running on Broadmoor Ave. to Briarwood Place. The young male began to walk back to the Malibu when it appeared he observed the BIS vehicle. The young male got in the suspicious vehicle and left the area. BIS Officer had never seen this vehicle in the area before. Officer patrolled the area the remainder of the night but there was no further contact with the vehicle or person.
