9/18…7:31 am…Zone 9…Old Stage Road….Received a call of a possible homeless male loitering near the community mailboxes. Described as an Asian male 25-35 years of age wearing green khakis with a large pile of duffle bags. BIS officer arrived at 7:35 am and contacted a BM matching the clothing description. Male was waiting for a ride to a ranch further up Old Stage Road where he would be living/working. Uber driver would not take him to the ranch and had dropped him at the Old Stage location. Subject did not need any assistance.

9/24…2:20 am…Zone 9…Marland Road South…Suspicious vehicle and two White males observed by BIS Officer. Silver 4 door pickup truck - possibly Toyota Tundra or Ford F-150, black push bar on the front of the truck with orange lights, unknown Florida plates, (Officer could not see the numbers due to the tailgate being down). WM #1 - 30s/40s, 5’10”, 225 lbs., with dark hair and full beard wearing khaki pants and a black t-shirt. WM #2 - 30s, brown hair, 5’10”, 160-170 lbs., wearing a black sweater and black pants. As the BIS officer was driving towards the truck the first male turned the lights off on the truck. Upon contact, WM #2 stated his friend was showing him how to shoot a bow and arrow and that he was trying to hit a tree. He was informed that the property belonged to the City of Colorado Springs/ utilities and the Broadmoor Hotel. Male stated they would leave after finding the arrow. Vehicle drove east on Cheyenne Mtn. Blvd from Cheyenne Mtn. Zoo Road at a high rate of speed. Last seen turning west on Pourtales Road from Cheyenne Mtn. Blvd. BIS Officer could not locate the vehicle again. BIS officer checked the area where the males were contacted and found one of the male's cell phones. Cell phone turned over to CSPD. BIS Officer suspected the two subjects may have been attempting to poach wildlife in the area.
