10/21…9:16 am…Zone 8…Marland Road: Received a call from Advanced Alarm Company for a garage door burglar alarm at the BIS member’s residence. The BIS officer arrived at 9:19 am, the alarm was not audible, no vehicles or individuals in the area, and no signs of attempted entry into the house. It was determined that the housekeeper forgot to close the door into the house from the garage. The BIS officer secured the door and cleared at 9:28 am.
10/21…9:29 pm…Zone 4…Gardner Place: Received a call from a BIS member about a suspicious male walking up the driveway. Only description was a male wearing orange pants. The member’s car alarm went off after the male was seen in the driveway. The BIS officer arrived at 9:36 pm and the vehicle was checked with the member. Nothing was taken from inside the vehicle. Area was checked for the male but unable to locate. No other calls were received. Cleared at 9:45 pm.

10/23…7:40 am…Zone 4…Old Broadmoor Road: Report of a burglary to motor vehicle that occurred sometime during the night. BIS member found the driver’s side door and the truck open. No forced entry. Loose change and a pocketknife were taken. No suspect description available.
10/24…7:19 pm…Zone 2…Fourth Street: Received a call from a BIS member that the burglar alarm had gone off at the residence but no information about location inside the house. Officer arrived at 7:24 pm. The alarm was not audible and there were no vehicles or individuals in the area upon arrival. No signs of attempted entry, all doors and windows were secure. The member was called back and advised all was secure. Cleared at 7:45 pm.
