5/14…3:48 pm…Zone 9…Marland Road South: BIS Officer received an alarm call from Advanced Alarm at a member’s residence. The BIS officer arrived at 3:52pm and found the front door of the residence standing open. A grey Toyota truck with CO plates was parked in the driveway. Contacted a WM working inside the house, he put in wrong alarm code. Residence owner/member had reached out to alarm company and verified a worker accidentally activated the alarm. Male was known to BIS Officer, seen working at various residences in the area previously. Officer cleared 3:53 pm.


5/15…9:15 pm…Zone 1…Vista Place: Member called about individuals in the open field next to their house. BIS officer arrived at 9:23pm and observed a male 12-15 years old and a female 8-11 year old walking on La Paloma Way, appeared to be siblings. Officer contacted the member and checked the open field area with no contact, no one observed in the field. Officer cleared 9:45 pm.


5/16…10:45 am…Zone 1…Elm Ave: Member called stating they saw on their cameras, a male wearing a reflective vest holding a can in their backyard. The BIS officer arrived at 10:50 am and contacted two city utility employees in front of the house. They were in the backyard to activate a gas main. Member was called back by Officer and informed who they were and the purpose of being at the house. BIS officer cleared at 11:00 am.


5/16…2:11 pm…Zone 8…Cheyenne Mtn Blvd: Received an alarm call from Advanced Alarm for a member’s residence. The BIS officer arrived at 2:16 pm, alarm was not audible, Officer conducted thorough perimeter search, no signs of attempted entry, all doors and windows were secure. Member arrived home and found that the dog inside had set off the alarm.  Officer cleared at 2:32 pm.


5/17…8:24 pm…Zone 10…Thayer Road: Member arrived at home and found the front door standing open. Member requested BIS officer check the interior of the house. The BIS officer arrived at 8:32 pm, no pry marks or signs of forced entry on the front door, dead bolt was partially turned into the locked position. The interior of the house was checked, all doors and windows were secure. Nothing disturbed or ransacked inside the house, no one found in the house. Spoke with the member and assured her the house was secure and no one had been inside, the door possibly not fully closed previously and blown open by wind. Officer cleared 8:54 pm.


5/18…1:38 am…Zone 6…Clubhouse Drive: BIS officer observed what appeared to be three juvenile males driving a golf cart with no lights on in the middle of the street. The driver was wearing a grey hoodie with the hood up and black glasses. Officer could not get a good look at the other two males. The BIS Officer turned around to contact the golf cart, which appeared to attempt to elude the officer to avoid contact. At 1:41 am, the golf cart was found abandoned at Broadmoor Valley Road and Briarcrest Place. The three males that had been occupying it were seen running onto the property of the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Resort security was contacted, golf cart belonged to them. While waiting for resort security to arrive the three males were again observed running North on Broadmoor Valley Road. Resort security stated this same group of juveniles had taken another golf cart in the last 2-3 days as well. BIS officer turned the golf cart over to resort security and cleared at 2:19 am.
