8/20…1:45 am…Zone 5…El Encanto Drive: BIS member called about a suspicious vehicle driving slowly in the area. No vehicle description given. The BIS officer arrived at 1:55 am, checking several streets in the area. No vehicles, individuals or any suspicious activity seen. Cleared at 2:10 am.
8/20…1:50 am…Zone 7…Lake Ave: BIS member called about a semi-truck parked in the middle of Lake Ave. The BIS officer arrived at 1:52 am and found the truck driver tightening down and checking his trailer load of vehicles.
8/20…10:41 am…Zone 7…Lake Ave: Received a call from a BIS member regarding a suspicious WM with facial hair wearing a reflective vest. Male was seen on camera knocking on the front door and leaving. BIS officer arrived at 10:46 am checking the area for the male. At 10:49 am the male was seen inside a Colorado Springs Utilities truck who was in the area replacing water and gas meters. Officer cleared at 10:51 am. The reporting member did not want a call back.
8/20…1:28 pm…Zone 9…Colonnade Court: Received a call from a BIS member that they had gotten an alarm coming from the front door entry. The BIS officer arrived at 1:33 pm. The front door found unlocked and closed with no sign of forced entry. The officer checked the exterior of the house; all other doors and windows were secure and no signs of forced entry. BIS officer called CSPD at 1:48 pm. After talking with several neighbors, they reported seeing a HM 5’8” tall wearing grey clothing walking quickly away from the house at the time the alarm sounded. Male was last seen walking onto the mountain golf course. Broadmoor Hotel security notified and given the description of the male. Two officers from CSPD arrived at 2:30 pm and checked the interior of the house. Nothing was disturbed inside the house or appeared to be taken. The alarm system was reset, and the front door secured by the BIS officer. Homeowners were called and informed that nothing was taken, and the house was secured. Officer clear at 2:59 pm. Received several calls from BIS members over the course of the next two hours about CSPD in the area searching for the suspect.
8/21…2:37 pm…Zone 2…Polo Pony Drive: BIS member called about a male that rang the doorbell, walked back to the street in front of the house and was loitering around for a few minutes. Male described as a WM wearing a black hoodie, baggy shorts with a thin build. Officer arrived at 2:44 pm. The officer checked the area of Polo Pony with no contact with the male described. The officer did find a flyer on the door at the member’s house. At 2:46 pm a male matching the description was seen walking down a driveway on Maple Ave and observed getting into a red Jeep Wrangler with CO plates and leaving the area. Another flyer was found on the door of the house on Maple Ave-no other calls received. Cleared at 2:47 pm.
8/22…6:47 pm…Zone 5…El Encanto Drive: Received a call from a BIS member about a WM with blonde hair wearing a black t-shirt and jeans, last seen near a barn. BIS officer arrived at 6:58 pm checking numerous streets with no contact. Unable to locate the male. No other calls received. Clear 7:15 pm.

8/24…1:46 am…Zone 6…Cheyenne Mountain Blvd: BIS officer observed a WF 20s standing next to a black Chevy Silverado with CO plates who was parked in the parking lot of Country Club Corners. As the officer was observing, the female fell to the ground right side next to the truck and appeared to have hit her head on the pavement. Upon contact she was unresponsive and took a minute or two to wake her up. Female was very unsteady on her feet, slurring her words and had a red mark on her left temple from falling. 911 was called at 1:52 am and CSFD arrived at 2:07 am. Upon talking to fire department personnel, she would only give her age (23) and her name. She was very intoxicated and unresponsive to further questions. AMR and two units from CSPD arrived at 2:14 am. Female was transported to the hospital by AMR. Truck was locked by CSPD officers. Cleared at 2:26 am.
8/24…9:34 am…Zone 5…Loma Linda Drive: Received a call from a BIS member stating his wife had fallen in the backyard, requesting help lifting her up off the ground. BIS officer arrived at 9:41 am, while enroute Broadmoor Fire Department was called as well. Broadmoor Fire Department arrived a few minutes later and were able to get the resident up, no injuries. BIS officer and Broadmoor Fire Department cleared at 10:05 am.
